Takes a long time to do PS file, then crashes

description

First time:
  • Select PS file (big one, multi page), it renders
  • Select some other file
  • Rename that PS file
  • Select it - it takes for ever to render
  • When you give up and select some other file you get a crash that looks like the following;

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Here is the particular PS file I happened to be using: http://www-d0.fnal.gov/d0pub/d0_private/3959/m_run2b_leak_new.ps (password required).

Even deleting the prewview host process didn't fix this - there must be some odd conflict going on with the files written out to the temp area?
